Jimmy Hastings

Jimmy Hastings (born James Brian Gordon Hastings, 12 May 1938, in Aberdeen, Scotland), is a British professional musician associated with the Canterbury scene.
He has played with his brother Pye Hastings in Caravan, with Soft Machine, Hatfield and the North, National Health, Brian Ferry, Chris Squire, among others.[1] He currently (2006) plays alto saxophone, clarinet and flute with Humphrey Lyttelton's 8 piece Jazz band.
