From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Doing general cleanup on all the Arbuthnots. Non-notable information removed from the article:
- Married in Cortachy & Clova, Angus, 25 June 1805, Margaret Ogilvy (died at Arbuthnott House 12 December 1870), sister of 6th Earl of Airlie and eldest daughter of the Hon Walter Ogilvy of Clova, later by courtesy 3rd Earl of Airlie (son of David Ogilvy, Lord Ogilvy) by his second wife, Jane, daughter of John Ogilvy of Murkle.
NOTE: The original of this article listed Arbuthnot's service in the House of Lords as being from 1818 to 1847, but the article List of Scottish representative peers lists Arbuthnot's service as being only from 24 July 1818 to 29 February 1820. Not knowing which is correct, I removed the dates.Herostratus 19:26, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
24/7/1818-29/2/1820 and 2/8/1821-23/7/1847 is correct. Kittybrewster 19:37, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
