[edit] Merger proposal
I built this article and then found out that there was a John Cherry (Lieutenant Governor) article that already existed. The apparant purpose was to distinguish that article from John Cherry, an Australian politician. I support this merger on the basis that giving an article tag of the person's current office gets very confusing if the person attains another office. Jtmichcock 15:50, 21 March 2006 (UTC)

- Ooops, there wasn't any content that I could see that still needed to be merged from the older article. But when I tried merging the edit histories, I seem to have botched things terribly.
