[edit] Origin
The date Jubilee first appeared is listed as 1989, but there was a character named Jubilee that appeared in the New Mutants Annual #2 released in 1986. While she appeared to have the same powers, Jubilee in this book appeared white as opposed to Asian, and with blonde hair. Her appearance can possibly be explained by her looks and powers being augmented by other mutants, as seems to be a common theme within this particular book.
- That was a different character of the same codename, her name was Darla and shhe first appeared in 1985 in Longshot #4. The character that this article refers to is seperate and did originate in 1989, her name is Jubilation Lee. Cresh 02:19, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] NO POWERS?
How come on the powers section, it says she has no powers? I thought her powers was to release fire works? -Lil_Flip246
- She recently lost her powers as part of Marvel's Decimation event. --DrBat 01:58, 7 January 2006 (UTC)
What happened after M-Day? did anyone regain their powers? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.29.133.232 (talk • contribs) .
- Quicksilver and a few of the characters from the Genoshan Excalibur series, but they're all twisted and backfiring (Quicksilver got time-travel powers which are aging him, the teleporter can't go where she wants to, Callisto was knocked comatose, Unus suffocated to death, etc. See Son of M) - SoM 16:24, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
Last thing, does Marvel show any signs of having former mutants regain their powers?

[edit] Future Jubilee
Does anybody have images from the issue of Wolverine in which Logan sees a future version of Jubilee where she wears rollerblades and a straight jacket? Artemisboy 16:39, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Someone's messing it up I think...
"Jubilee (full name _Xavier_)
(...)
Jubilee's biggest fan is Xavier, who has been a fan since he started playing the videogame X-Men Legends.
Xavier likes to go by the name the "Jubster" and is frequently seen playing as Jubilee on X-Men Legends and in general being a huge fan."
... don't You think that's been intended "attack" on the purposes of Wiki? It should give information not being scribbled-over with someone's fan problems...
[edit] powered?
In looking at the Nrama article, I noticed something. While he did say "powerless" he seemed to imply she'd be without MUTANT powers, not that she'd remain with NO powers.--Marhawkman 16:14, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
- Our job is not to speculate. He may be implying, but you also may be inferring. If and when there's clear confirmation that she will get some powers--ANY powers--back, the article should then be updated, but not before then. In the meantime, Joe Quesada gave a rather straightforward statement regarding the status of Jubilee's powers that we should probably accept as fact for the moment.
