Judy Agnew

Elinor Isabel Judefind Agnew (born April 23, 1921) was the wife of the 39th Vice President of the United States, Spiro Agnew, who also served as a governor of Maryland. She was known as Judy.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was daughter of W. Lee Judefind, a chemist, and his wife, the former Ruth Elinor Schafer. Her paternal grandfather was a Methodist minister.
She married Agnew on May 27, 1942 in Baltimore, Maryland; he had graduated from Army Officers Candidate School two days earlier. They had four children: Pamela, James Rand, Susan, and Kimberly.
