Junius P. Morgan

Junius P. Morgan was a leading American financier.
A London merchant banking firm was established in 1838 by American businessman George Peabody. Junius P. Morgan became Peabody's partner 16 years later.
He was the father of John Pierpont Morgan (1839-1913) who became a leading philanthropist and one of the nation's wealthiest men. Morgan played a legendary role in the development of U.S. industry.
