Kieran O' Donnell

Kieran O' Donnell is an Irish politician, chartered accountant and a member of the Fine Gael party.
He lives in Monaleen, Castletroy and is married to Phil with four children. He was elected on his first attempt to Limerick County Council for the Castleconnell Electoral area in the June 2004 Local Elections as a Fine Gael member, having contested the 2002 Seanad Election unsuccessfully on the Administrative Panel.
Kieran is also a member of the Mid-West Regional Authority and Limerick Market Trustees. He is on the planning and transport strategic policy committees of Limerick County Council.
A chartered accountant with his own practice, he has an honours business studies degree from the University of Limerick. He has lectured extensively and has acted as a voluntary business mentor.
An active local community worker, he has served as Chairperson of the Castleconnell Electoral Area Community & Voluntary Forum (2001-2003) and is involved in various local community and sports organisations.
He is a nephew of the former Fine Gael Teachta Dála, Government Minister and MEP, Tom O'Donnell.
On November 27, 2005 he and Michael Noonan were selected as the two Fine Gael candidates in Limerick East at the next general election.
