Kimball Medical Center is a hospital located in Lakewood Township, New Jersey that serves parts of northern Ocean County and southern Monmouth County. The hospital is part of the Saint Barnabas Health Care System. Kimball Medical Center also operates three satellite facilities: a psychiatric hospital known as Kimball Northeast in Lakewood, the Saint Barnabas Ambulatory Care Center at Manchester in Whiting, and The Center for Healthy Living in Lakewood.
Kimball originated as a small community hospital founded in 1913. Its first six operating rooms were built in 1969, with two more added in 1985.
