[edit] Wikpedia Contributions
After editing articles for over a year, I've just recently begun starting new articles. Texas T, Sophomore slump, and Sound Retrieval System are three. I also significantly expanded several articles, such as Hofstadter's law and The Shangri-La Diet. On the other hand my contributions to the article on Hip-hop were largely removed, which didn't surprise me much and was probably for the best, since I am utterly suburban and white.
I try to be a good Wiki'er but I will admit I'm sometimes bad about things like edit summaries and sourcing. I'm trying to get better at that. However, I would argue that my NPOV is pretty good.
Some days I'd rather edit other people's writing than write my own. If you know of an article that could use some polishing by a professional wordsmith, drop me a note on my talk page, I'll take a look and do an edit pass if I feel like it. I did a reorganization and edit pass on the Starbucks article a while back (I'm not even a huge coffee drinker, I just stumbled across the article and saw it needed help) and it seems to have gone over fairly well.
