[edit] History
KXLX was originally at 630 kHz AM as KXLI and whose previous names for the station included KKPL and KHDL. This station originally signed on with the call letters KZUN in the mid-1950s and was known as "Cousin Radio". The KXLI sign has been used by other broadcasters in the past, including a television station in Minnesota from 1981 until 1997, now known as KPXM.
On September 25, 2005 KXLI changed its call letters to KXLX, moved to 700 kHz and became Spokane's second Sports outlet by joining the ESPN Radio network.
