Lakeside Primary School

Lakeside Primary School is a primary school located in Jurong, Singapore. It wasformed by a merger of Yung An Primary School, Merlimau Primary School, Jurong Town Primary School, together with the addition of other students who are transferred from different schools to Lakeside. The schools were merged under the Education Ministry's 'Programme for Rebuilding and Improving Existing Schools' to form Lakeside Primary School.
Teaching at Lakeside Primary School started on 1st January 2003. It was later officially opened on 23rd July 2004 by Tharman Shanmugaratnam (Minister for Education).
