Laura Miles

Laura Miles was a fictional character on the FX drama Rescue Me. The character was played by Diane Farr
Laura made her debut as the replacement for recently deceased Billy. She was the first female firefighter in the house and thus faced predujice from the established members of Truck 62. In one episode, Chief O' Rielly went so far as to deficate in her personal bathroom at the station.
Laura and Franco began dating but the fact that they worked together put a strain on their relationship. Franco was unfaithful to Laura during their time together, sleeping with other women behind her back.
Laura told Franco that her father always laughed at her for thinking she could be a firefighter. Laura thought she had proven him wrong once she had been assigned to a house but she now felt she had destroyed her credibility by sleeping with a member of the same house. Ashamed, she left the house, and New York City, without a word of goodbye to Franco or her former work Colleagues.
