Laughing Nameless Antihero is the online name used by a man who offline calls himself 'None', which he chose for himself online when he first joined myspace late in 2004. He concluded that it was adequate in keeping him anonymous, while expressing something about his personality and outlook.
He has a great variety of interests, and he's said that 'information junkie' would not be an unfair label for him. Though somewhat reclusive in person, he tend to be more social online, though still fairly selective even then, openly admitting that he is likely guilty of on-and-off intellectual elitism. Nonetheless he does try to remain openminded despite that and his general feelings of misanthropy. He does point out that he neither hates the human race, nor individuals though, and he says his brand of misanthropy is mostly dislike, anger, and intolerance for stupidity and destructive human choices which impact other species. His philosophy of hatred is that it tends to be destructive toward both the bearer of the hate as well as the target of the hate, so whether or not an ethical case need be made, he reasons that hatred is better avoided if possible in either case.
Of his many endeavors and projects, he considers one of the most important to be an environmental group, Green Rage, which he started in hope of addressing some often overlooked points, and providing a networking locus for others who share his general pro-animal, pro-plant, anti-human sentiments. Some of his basic tenets in this matter are the rejection of non-violence, vegetarianism, technophobia, or fruitless dialog with closed-minded parties, as necessary features of environmentalism, activism, and love of nature.
He has also started a Trollhunting group, which not only flames internet trolls and spammers, but seeks out scammers and online predators, in hopes of reporting them and getting them offline. He believes in this case that the use of online citizen's watch ideas can work, that it can discourage trolls and public nuisances, that insult comedy, or flame war tactics can work, especially when applied with some sense of psychology and strategy.
Other than his networking endeavors, Laughing Nameless Antihero also writes various rants and comedic pieces, posting them in his blog and other places online, as well as doing graphics, computer animation, and electronic music in the permanently underground experimental electro band, "Wall of Emptiness".
