From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Lebohang Lefalamang Mokoena (born September 29, 1986) is a South African footballer who has represented the country at U17 and U20 levels. He currently plays for South African side Orlando Pirates. His nickname is Cheese.
Lebohang has impressed South African head coach Stuart Baxter with his impressive performances for Orlando Pirates to the extent that he is on the brink of playing for the senior team. His first chance of a major international tournament could arise in the 2006 African Nations Cup to be held in Egypt.
Mokoena has played in a variety of roles for Orlando Pirates but is most commonly found playing upfront or on the right wing. His ability to thread the ball to other players has led to him being played as a central midfielder as well.
His success at football has been more impressive due to the fact Lebohang still continues with his studies at Johannesburg Senior Secondary School, often balancing time between exams and matches.
