Lewis F. Linn

Lewis Fields Linn (November 5, 1795 – October 3, 1843) was a Jacksonian Democratic U.S. Senator for the state of Missouri born in Kentucky on November 5, 1795. He served in that role from 1833 to 1843. Four states named counties in his honor: Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Oregon. He died on October 3, 1843.
