Librazhd is amongst the cleanest cities in Albania. The inhabitants are well known for their culture and customs. The climate in summer is warm and snow is common in winter. Next to Librazhd croses the river Shkumbin which is joined by river Rrapun, whose provenance is in Kuturman, at the city limits. There are no significant industrial activities in the city and most inhabitants engage in small businesses or tend to emmigrate to neighboring countries.
