Lights! Camera! Danger! is an episode of The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron. It was aired in November 11, 2004.
After seeing a poster about making a movie, Jimmy, Sheen, Carl, Cindy, and Libby decided to join a film-making contest. Their movies went to a director named Quentin Smithee, who chooses the gang for the movie. In the first scene of the movie, Smithee tries to kill Jimmy and the gang by making them fall off building, but failed. In the roller-coaster scene, Smithee tried to kill the gang again, but failed. When Jimmy wanted to check the records of Quentin Smithee, there isn't a record about him.
In the trailer, the director is revealed to the audience (but not Jimmy) to be none other than Professor Finbarr Calamitous in a disguise. In the third scene of the movie, Calamitous tries to kill Jimmy and the gang with flying hats with killer spikes, but failed. Just then, Libby, Carl, Sheen, and Cindy quit, and Jimmy decided to put them back together. In the final scene of the movie, Jimmy learned that the director is Calamitous after learning that he didn't make an ending, no record of Quentin Smithee, and how to start a camera. Calamitous prepares to finish off Jimmy and the gang with a giant robotic snake, but failed when a doughnut jammed the system.
Just then, Calamitous was arrested by the police, and Libby, Carl, Sheen, and Cindy decided to have a movie with all the show's characters.

- The name "Quentin Smithee" is a parody of real-life director Quentin Tarantino, and Alan Smithee (the name often used in Hollywood when directors or producers do not want their real name attached to a film).
- Calamitous does not know how to start a camera, and does not know to make an ending.
- The beginning of Jimmy's movie has Goddard on the MGM logo.
- The website Jimmy uses to check out Quentin Smithee is a parody of the Internet Movie Database.
- When Carl asks if Jimmy will remember him and Jimmy says "Your name's Rob, right?", it is a reference to Rob Paulsen, the voice of Carl.
- When Jimmy says Klaatu Barata Nikto, it is a reference to The Day the Earth Stood Still.
- When Goddard is showing Jimmy the greatest movies of all time, Toy Story, Finding Nemo, Star Wars, Home Alone, Forrest Gump, and Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius are quoted.
- When Hugh asks Quentin about his "musical number" on the movie, he starts singing a song about his character "Donut Boy". Hugh is actually singing a parody of "Theme of Shaft".
- When Carl Said "He is the Jimster" in the group meeting, his mouth didn't move.
- When Hugh gets into his boxers and gets on the floor he is parodying Gollum from The Lord of the Rings
- At the very end of the episode when everyone is watching the movie, you can see Donut Boy dancing on the screen (Donut Boy was Hugh Neutron in his boxers).
- The made up school Quentin created was called Pigpimples, an obvious spoof of Hogwarts from Harry Potter. The scene itself may be a spoof of Harry Potter.
