From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Lion Head Recordings is the record label Glyn Bigga Bush set up in 2006 primarily to release his own records and Lightning Head productions, covering genres such as dub, afrobeat, funk, batucada, breaks and 21st century reggae.
The first release on the label was BiggaBush in Dub, a collection of spaced-out, chilled and ambient dubscapes with touches of electric guitar, deep electronics and analogue tape delays and featuring a new "replugged" version of Rockers Hi Fi's most famous song, "Push Push."
As well as producing his own music and DJing regularly in many countries, BiggaBush has remixed numerous artists including Ella Fitzgerald, Earl Zinger, Swayzak featuring Benjamin Zepheniah, Sly and Robbie, Boozoo Bajou, Suba, Richard Dorfmeister’s Tosca, Tony Allen and Bob Marley and the Wailers.
