Talk:List of Post-hardcore bands
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I would like to point out that classifying Thursday, It Dies Today, Fightstar, 36 Crazyfists, Enter Shikari, and My Chemical Romance in the same group is the most absurd thing I've ever heard.
Where did this information come from? Or did the writer simply add all of his or her favourite bands?
Heather.
Very good point made there, MCR sound nothing like bands like Enter Shikari and 36 CrazyFists but not forgetting Aiden who shouldn't be in this either.

Half of these bands aren't even post-hardcore (adien, fear before, chiods, etc...) they have no post-hardcore traits at all.
Yeah... I mean, as I understand it, post-hardcore is a pretty widely varying genre (I've heard it used to describe Fall of Troy and Coheed & Cambria in the same sentence), but even taking that into account this list is pretty crap. Daedae 00:05, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
By the way, I'm moving all the info to the List of post-hardcore bands article to stay consistent. icelandic hurricane #12 (talk) 18:46, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
