Lycée Français de Pondichéry

The Lycée Français de Pondichéry in India is the most important French high school (lycée français) of Asia. It was created in 26 October 1826 by Eugène Panon, Comte Desbassayns de Richemont, then Governor General of Pondicherry. Its old name is Collège Royal. It welcomes today about 1400 students of the maternal one to the final one.
