Lynn Carey Saylor (born September 9, 1972 as Lynn Carey), is an American singer, guitarist and composer. She is most known for her recording work with Queen guitar legend, Brian May, and her 2007 remake of the Lowen and Navarro 1984 hit "We Belong",[1] versons of which were also released by Pat Benatar in 1984 and again by the Sheraton Hotel chain for marketing purposes in 2005.

[edit] Early years
Saylor was born Lynn Carey in San Diego, California. The first instrument she played was violin, then piano, then moved to guitar in her early teens. She writes songs on both piano ("If We Believe") and guitar, but most often guitar. She is known for being bright and scholastic, as she skipped a grade in school and was a high school graduate by the age of 16. Lynn studied music theory at the now defunct Dick Grove School of Music and she is also a college graduate, with a BA in Communications and a minor in Music. She has been a member of the Screen Actors Guild since the mid-90's with bit parts in movies and television commercials to her credit.

Following her early 90's marriage to Skip Saylor, she became involved in his well-known recording studio, Skip Saylor Recording, which has worked with countless artists, including Madonna, Michael Jackson, Boys II Men, Snoop Dogg, Foo Fighters, Guns N' Roses, k.d. lang, Elton John and many more. Skip Saylor Recording was also one of the mix studios that worked on the track, "Wishing It Was," off the 8x Grammy Award winning and multi-platinum selling Santana release, "Supernatural.

In 2006, she remade the 1984 hit "We Belong", working closely with both Eric Lowen and Dan Navarro, and Brian May of Queen, whom all appear on her version of the song. Saylor's rendition is considered by many to be the most moving of the four major renditions to date, including those by Pat Benatar, Lowen and Navarro, and musicians independently contracted by the Sheraton Hotel.
In early 2007, her full length album "You Like It Clean" was released independently. It features "We Belong" and 10 other cuts written entirely by Lynn. Other notable musicians on this album include Stacy Jones (drums) and Jamie Arentzen (guitar), frontman and guitarist respectively for popular rock band "AMERICAN HI-FI" (best known for their 2002 hit single "Flavor Of The Weak"), Chris Johnson, programmer of the smash hit single for Evanescence, "Bring Me To Life", Frank Gryner, producer/programmer to many well-known artists such as Tommy Lee and Rob Zombie, Danny Miranda, formerly the long-time touring bassist of Blue Oyster Cult and currently the tour bassist for Queen + Paul Rodgers, Sasha Krivtsov, former touring bassist for such artists as Vanessa Carlton and Billy Idol and currently in the house band of the CBS reality series "Rockstar Supernova" (formerly known as Rockstar INXS), and drummer Mark Schulman, who has toured or recorded with the likes of Cher, Foreigner, Pink, Stevie Nicks, Sheryl Crow and many other superstar artists.

She is the winner of four 2005 online music awards - IOMA's as they are known (voted on by 15,000 of her Independent musician peers). They are as follows:
