M75 Armored Personnel Carrier
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The M75 Armored Personnel Carrier was the ancestor to the M113 MPC. It used a boxy hull mounted on the chassis of the M41 Walker Bulldog light tank. While it was essentially an experimental transitional design for a vehicle to replace half-track transports, it set the pattern for what would become the most widely produced and successful US armoured vehicle, the M113.
