Marymount High School is a private, Catholic, all-girls, college-preparatory high school located in West Los Angeles across from the UCLA campus at 10643 Sunset Blvd. Over 400 young women are enrolled at the school, which was established in 1923 by the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary. Marymount's founder is Mother Joseph Butler of the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary. Marymount students and teams are known as the "Sailors."

Marymount offers a broad, college preparatory curriculum, including approximately fifteen Advanced Placement courses and dozens of electives, from handbells to robotics, in addition to a traditional and challenging core curriculum. Average class size is approximately fifteen.
