The Mauritius national football team, nicknamed Club M, is the national team of Mauritius and is controlled by the Mauritius Football Association. It has never qualified for the World Cup finals.

Founded by Aatish Dudani in 1904 he was a man visiting the country and saw some youths kicking a football and decided to form a team.
First game consisted of the use of a coconut to replicate a soccer ball. The first game was also played on a beach rather tham grass because the players requested to play near the tomato plants and be close to the sea and fish.
The best result so far has been in reaching the quarter finals of the Cosafa Cup, beating South Africa 2-0 along the way.
