Maya Karin

Maya Karin Roelcke, born on 29 October 1979, is an actor and singer from Malaysia. She is commonly referred to as Maya Karin in the media.
Born to a German father, Gottfried Roelcke, and a mother of Malay, Chinese and Indian parentage, Che Zan, from Pulau Pinang[1], Maya is the oldest out of three siblings and graduated at Lim Kok Wong Institute in media and marketing.

Maya constantly became a hunted product or brand name for modelling whether she would be a TV commercial model or a brand name as a TV commercial model or their speaker. She was modelling along with Pantene, Wella, Halle, dan Yishion (with Hans Isaac).

Maya's first award was a "Popular New Artist" trophy for "Berita Harian Popular Star Award 2001" (ABPBH2001) in Genting Highlands, Pahang. Currently, she is a VJ of Channel [V].
