Maynard Lake

Maynard Lake is located on a prime location on the renowned English River System, 80 kilometres (50 miles) Northeast of Kenora, Ontario. It is accessible only by sea plane. This deluxe fishing lodge - the only one on the 8000-acre lake - provides a remote fishing experience for up to thirty guests on truly unspoiled waters. Providing both lake and river fishing, Maynard Lake can be successfully fished whether casting, trolling, drifting or still fishing.

As stated, you can only get to Maynard Lake via sea plane. This service is offered by Walsten Air based in Kenora, Ontario. During the winter you can take logging roads up part way and then drive across the iced lakes.

The Lake has many areas including the Main lake, Stove cove, Jackfish Bay, Segal Rock, The River, The Outpost, The Fingers, The Memorial, North Bay, and South Bay.

Maynard Lake Lodge is basically a resort located on the lakeside. It has about 10 Cabins plus the lodge. It has a private chef, and a full staff (including dock staff).
