Thanks, whoever came up with the idea for the template for all the McDonaldland characters. I went ahead and modified it to make it look like other pages' templates. I actually copied the code directly from the Cheers page template, only changing the colours to McDonald's colours (if the red and yellow are too much, maybe muted versions of the colours will work better). [edit] Yum Chums
Why are these so-called "Yum Chums" listed as part of McDonaldland? Reading the article and following the links show them to be a part of some recent British advertising campaign. The way I see it, these things are completely unrelated. I never even heard of them until reading about them here. They appear to be part of some (fairly) current health food campaign, but what does that have to do with McDonaldland? McDonaldland was an American advertising gimmick that spawned a bunch of characters in the 1970s-1980s. I'm going to remove them from the McDonaldland template, unless anyone objects.
