Melaleuca is a remote outstation in the south-west area of Tasmania, Australia. Access is only via sea (from Port Davey) or by air.[2]
It serves as a base for bushwalking and hiking in the remote South West Wilderness region of the state. The settlement consists of a couple of buildings and an airstrip. The permanent population is two.[1].
