Michael Austin Cera (born June 7, 1988 in Brampton, Ontario, Canada) (pronounced [ˈsɛ.rə]) is a Canadian TV and film actor. Most of his work has been in Canada, although he most recently played George Michael Bluth in the offbeat Fox comedy Arrested Development. He guest-starred in an episode of teen noir drama Veronica Mars, and also in the Adult Swim series' Tom Goes to the Mayor and Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!.
He played the young Chuck Barris in Confessions of a Dangerous Mind in 2002. He provided the voice for Brother Bear in The Berenstain Bears animated series. Cera will star in the upcoming movie Juno, screenplay by Diablo Cody, directed by Jason Reitman.
Cera is in a band called "The Long Goodbye".[1]
In late 2006, he created and starred in a parody of the YouTube video resume created by Aleksey Vayner, called "Impossible is the Opposite of Possible." [2]
In 2007, he will write, produce, direct, and act in a short-form comedy series entitled Clark and Michael [3] with friend Clarke Duke. The show will be distributed via CBS' new internet channel, Innertube.[4]
