Mindemoya, Ontario

Mindemoya is a community in the Canadian province of Ontario, located on Manitoulin Island in the political township of Central Manitoulin. It has a population of approx. 350 and is known as the 'heart of manitoulin' for its location.
With a hospital, school, police station and arena Mindemoya is the fourth largest town on Manitoulin behind Little current, Wikiwemakong, and Gore Bay.
Known for its bountiful hunting and superb fishing, Mindemoya is a summer home for many from the north east United States.
Mindemoyas hockey teams are the thunder and the hackers.
