The following are members of The Slug Club, an organisation of Horace Slughorn's favourite students, in J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. Slug Club members Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Lily Potter, Cormac McLaggen, Neville Longbottom, Ginny Weasley have their own articles.

Marcus Belby is a thin Ravenclaw boy a year older than Harry. Marcus may be related to Flavius Belby (see Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them). He is a member of Slug Club, and first mentioned in Hogwarts Express. Marcus' Uncle Damocles had been taught potions by Slughorn, and had later in life received The Order of Merlin after having invented the Potion Wolfsbane. Slughorn seemed to lose interest in Marcus after learning that he did not know his famous uncle too well because of a rift between his father and uncle. (Mentioned on pg. 144 of HBP)

Melinda Bobbin is a Hogwarts student, and is said to be a witch from a family that owns a large chain of apothecaries. This was told by New and former Potion Master Horace Slughorn in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince book before Slug club was opened. Her house and age is unknown.

Dirk Cresswell is the Head of the Goblin Liaison Office. He is Muggle-born, and favourite student of his old teacher Horace Slughorn.

A graduate of Hogwarts, Ambrosius Flume was one of Horace Slughorn's favourite students. Slughorn introduced him to Ciceron Harkiss who gave him his first job. Ambrosius is now affiliated with Honeydukes Sweetshop, and still sends Slughorn a hamper of sweets every birthday.

Gwenog Jones is the famous captain of the Welsh, all-female Quidditch team, the Holyhead Harpies. She was one of Horace Slughorn's all-time favourite students. She gives him free tickets whenever he wants. According to her "Wizard of the Month" card which appeared on J.K. Rowling's website, she was born in 1969, which would make her one of Slughorn's last students before he retired in the 1980s. Her Wizard cards have depicted her as dark-skinned. Hermione considers Gwenog to be "a bit full of herself."
