Morfa Mawddach railway station in Gwynedd, Wales, on the Cambrian Coast Railway from Dovey Junction was formerly a junction station (known as Barmouth Junction) connecting with the Ruabon to Barmouth line (closed in 1965). Between Morfa Mawddach and Barmouth the railway crosses the Afon Mawddach on the famous Barmouth Bridge.
Today, Morfa Mawddach seems to be mainly used by people living in or visiting the area south of the Mawddach Estuary due to parking at the station and taking the train in to Barmouth being much quicker than the twenty mile road journey via Dolgellau. Originally a four platform station, the station is now a single platform unmanned halt. Trains stop on request.
The former trackbed from Dolgellau now forms the Llwybr Mawddach (or "Mawddach Trail"), which officially starts at the station car park.
