Dear Mrwojo: Hello. Thank you for reading my page about the List of famous people with Cancer. Like you, I found it disturbing that some other user, without reading the page mind you, put politicians and athletes on the entertainers list. Prove that he didnt read the page wholly before editing it, is that he put athletes Lance Armstrong and Curt Flood under entertainers, when I already had them under athletes. That also made me mad cause it meant I had to work double, to erase them and, in the politician and religious people cases, relocate them to their right category.

Other than that I just wanted to say thanks for reading the article and giving your opinion. I appreciate it.

God bless you!!

Sincerely yours, AntonioMartin

[edit] Anti PKs

Good idea on the Anti PKs article. I redirected it to Player versus player and added some information about the Anti-PK reaction to PKing. --Dejitarob 21:35, 12 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Mrwojo,

Thanks for catching my error on the static warp bubble page. Had pasted the original text as a reference to myself and was reworking links when I saved instead of previewed. POsted revised edition at the temp page. Let me know, new to editing here, long time reader.

[edit] Article Licensing

Hi, I've started a drive to get users to multi-license all of their contributions that they've made to either (1) all U.S. state, county, and city articles or (2) all articles, using the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike (CC-by-sa) v1.0 and v2.0 Licenses or into the public domain if they prefer. The CC-by-sa license is a true free documentation license that is similar to Wikipedia's license, the GFDL, but it allows other projects, such as WikiTravel, to use our articles. Since you are among the top 1000 Wikipedians by edits, I was wondering if you would be willing to multi-license all of your contributions or at minimum those on the geographic articles. Over 90% of people asked have agreed. For More Information:

To allow us to track those users who muli-license their contributions, many users copy and paste the "DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual" template into their user page, but there are other options at Template messages/User namespace. The following examples could also copied and pasted into your user page:

Option 1
I agree to multi-license all my contributions, with the exception of my user pages, as described below:
DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual

OR

Option 2
I agree to multi-license all my contributions to any U.S. state, county, or city article as described below:
DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual

Or if you wanted to place your work into the public domain, you could replace "DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual" with "MultiLicensePD". If you only prefer using the GFDL, I would like to know that too. Please let me know what you think at my talk page. It's important to know either way so no one keeps asking. [edit] GCOTW

I'm giving you this message because you have been active on Gaming Collaboration of the week in the past. The collaboration had a bit of a hiatus, but it's now active again. A new article will be chosen this Sunday. It would be greatly appreciated if you visited the page to vote and/or make new nominations and worked on next week's GCOTW. Thanks. --Slowking Man 08:05, Feb 4, 2005 (UTC)

Hi, I added a link to the Spore (game) article you worked on. I wasn't sure if it was supposed to go under references so I placed it under external links. Anyway, I highly recommend you check out the podcast if you hadn't already. cheers Jacoplane 20:05, 22 Mar 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Scott Miller

Good job on the Scott Miller page.. Rad Racer 19:55, 23 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Thanks. I always try to make small articles (esp. biographies) hit the major points of notability lest it be put up for deletion like Graeme Devine was. --Mrwojo 20:14, 23 Mar 2005 (UTC)
Yeah, it would be lame for the creator of Kingdom of Kroz to get vfd'ed. That game was legendary. I guess people just don't have the same appreciation for extended ASCII these days.. Rad Racer 21:20, 23 Mar 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Template CVG

Hey just to let you know I made a design change to the cvg template. Basically the change sets a width so if someone adds a ton of text it doesn't move the column width it wraps and moves down. The rest has to do with text alignment and making stuff stick out better than others (ex bolding the left column). Hopefully this will do better as a standard. Any problems let me know. I'm notifying you in case I screwed up the optional stuff. K1Bond007 23:01, Mar 26, 2005 (UTC)

In fact apparently the media stuff doesn't want to change. hmm :( K1Bond007 23:05, Mar 26, 2005 (UTC)
Nevermind. I guess it was a cache problem. After commenting the line out then uncommenting it it fixed itself. Any other problems, criticism or whatever just leave me a message. K1Bond007 23:13, Mar 26, 2005 (UTC)

The "(s)" thing is unfortunate. I'm not sure how to fix that (I do indeed use Firefox, makes editing multiple pages on Wikipedia easy + tons of other reasons). I notice for some reason that it doesn't always break to a new line. On X-COM: UFO Defense for instance, modes, ratings, and platforms stays on the same line. ??? Another thing about the design is do we want to continue to use purple? I guess oh well at this point. What else really needs to be done with the template? I'd like to have the entire thing done or at least a consensus before we start to use it on every page. K1Bond007 05:30, Mar 27, 2005 (UTC)

I think Template:Infobox CVG would be fine. It's not that wordy and CVG is a good umbrella for both computer and video games. What will be different for computer games? Just requirements? K1Bond007 23:19, Mar 27, 2005 (UTC)
Alright. Unless you can figure out the optional stuff then go ahead and go for it. I added optional stuff to one of my templates: Template:BondInfo and it works great, but if you have two optional lines in a row you get a nasty gap at the bottom if you don't use it. I asked the guy who made the Peru one for help on that. (ex. Never Say Never Again has the gap, but one like GoldenEye doesn't.)
Btw, I attempted to change the code a little in the template to see if I could fix the '(s)' problem, but as soon as I thought I had it fixed the width wouldn't stay set so I had to revert it. I'll try and figure this one out too. K1Bond007 23:40, Mar 27, 2005 (UTC)

Might be easier to seperate computer and video games. Most of the optional stuff comes from games on the computer. If it's a multiplatform game (meaning PC and (PS2/whatever) then they would use the computer template. If it's a console game (regardless of which or how many) they'd use the console template. K1Bond007 18:32, Mar 28, 2005 (UTC)

Hey I think I figured out my gap problem at Template:BondInfo. All I did was add a |- after each optional (and before the first) and it compacts it. Looks kinda screwy on the page, but it works.. see:
So far I haven't found any problems. See Template talk:BondInfo K1Bond007 02:14, Mar 29, 2005 (UTC)

Cool I would say it's done. Since we were able to eliminate the "footer" template, I don't really see a need in seperating by video game/computer game anymore. Anything else left to do that I'm thinking of? K1Bond007 03:22, Mar 29, 2005 (UTC)

Should we add Template:Infobox CVG extended and Template:Infobox CVG end to the templates for deletion? I'll take care of it, I just want to make sure you have no need for them anymore before I do. K1Bond007 01:27, Mar 30, 2005 (UTC)

As I noted the other day, the vote is pretty much done for the template. Should we just call it and make it official? I don't know if you ever saw, but I wrote/rewrote some stuff for the infobox on Template talk:Infobox CVG that we could just copy and paste on the WikiProject page. Assuming I didn't mess up, leave something out or etc. K1Bond007 19:16, Apr 3, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Year in video gaming

For 2005 in video gaming I added pictures for the video games that were released and unveiled this year. I was wanting to know what your thoughts are on this. I'm thinking of scaling this back to just systems expected to be released or were released then going back and even forward (up to 2006) and doing the same for those pages. What do you think? Also I asked on the discussion page for 2005, but I'd like to know if you think we should continue the "Notable releases" and "Expected releases". I don't believe these are necessary and I'm afraid of all the additions or removals that may occur because 'notable' is POV. I'd much rather either list them all like Film does (2004 in film for example) or some other method that perhaps I haven't thought of. Listing them all seems to be too much for the page. Perhaps just top grossing and a link to the Category? or a List of video games released in 2005? I don't know. K1Bond007 20:51, May 17, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] lots of edits, not an admin

Hi - I made a list of users who've been around long enough to have made lots of edits but aren't admins. It looks like you're not active anymore, but if you come back and are at all interested in becoming an admin, can you please add an '*' immediately before your name in this list? I've suggested folks nominating someone might want to puruse this list, although there is certainly no guarantee anyone will ever look at it. I've marked you on this list as "inactve". The Dave Arneson article is badly in need of citations. Back in October of 2004 you made this edit in which the article was massively fleshed out. Those additions largely stand today. I'm hoping that as the original contributor of the bulk of the article, you might be able to provide the much neede citations. Can you help? — Alan De Smet | Talk 05:01, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
