Myles Pollard

Myles Pollard (born November 4, 1972 in Perth, Western Australia) is an Australian actor, best known for his role as Nick Ryan on the TV series, McLeod's Daughters.
Pollard graduated from NIDA in 1998. In addition to Wildside his television credits include Invincibles, Water Rats, and All Saints.
He grew up in remote communities in Western Australia where his father was a school principal and his mother taught music. Although they moved every two to five years, He spent the latter part of his high-school years in Perth.
After graduating from university with a communications degree, Pollard moved to Sydney to begin an acting career. He performed King Lear at the New Theatre and realised he needed training. He auditioned for NIDA and was accepted into their three-year program, graduating in 1998.
Wildside was his first job and then he toured with Bell Shakespeare in a version of Romeo and Juliet which explored themes of racism in Australia.
He was packing veterinary products at a wholesale factory when he found out he had the role of Nick Ryan. He received a Silver Logie Award nomination for Most Popular Actor at the 2003 Australian TV Week Logie Awards. He has taught Drama and theatre to middle school students in Kalgoorlie, WA, Australia.
He is married to Brigitta Wuthe. They married in 2006.
