[edit] Sysop candidates
The new user Смирнов requesting bureaucratship is not identical (by his IP) with those users who were blocked about an hour before his registration as a checkusage showed. Pill 21:02, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
- Thankyou Pill. Any details about his origins? Is he really from Moldova as he claims? Some people said his language isn't so good, I'm not in a position to evaluate these claims. --Node ue 00:05, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

- I do not know, I didn't do the checkusage. If I have time tomorrow and the stewards have not killed me in the meantime for the double request, I'll ask someone ;) Pill 00:37, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] POV pushing by Pill
Here's a question: what does Pill think he's doing? Here, my opinion on Epure's suitability for bureaucratship and another comment were deleted for what reason exactly? Here, a comment by en:User:Dahn is similarly deleted. So what is this ultimately, a rigged poll, any opinion Pill does not like is simply deleted? Here, User:Alec is blocked for two weeks for supposed "irrelevant comments on Wikipedia:Кандидаць" - since when is that a criterion for blocking? Does anyone else think Pill is going too far - I propose a petition for de-sysopment. As far as I can see, Pill is following the shining example of his predecessors User:Node ue and User:Epure (likely both the same person); both can't say anything beyond a couple of phrases in Romanian/Moldovan and both were de-sysopped for abuse of administrative privileges and employing methods used in Soviet Moldova for getting their way. Let's watch now as Pill deletes this comment under some similar frivolous excuse - let's see how well he responds to criticism and complaints of what I consider legitimate grievances.--Fratele al vizitatorului din versiunea engleza 08:31, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
- (1) because you are not allowed to vote according to the vote regulations. (2) because it is irrelevant to say all the time that I was a German, they came from countries you don't like and so we couldn't decide and do something here. (3) Because spamming the election page always with the same crap is irrelevant. You all cannot prove they are the same users, so stop keeping on saying so. Pill 18:24, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

- I guess you're right man. We will make a petion and sign it against Pill. In principle, there could at some future time this anti-romanian campaign be stopped. However, it appears that this has been almost entirely an effort to create a POV fork and avoid consensus on issues in the Moldovan Wikipedia's project. Node ue and Khoikhoi, in particular, has been a POV warrior of the most recalcitrant sort on Romanian issues in the English-language Wikipedia, grasping at straws, constantly citing discredited Soviet-era scholarship, and ignoring clear consensus. The effort to establish a consensus speaks for itself. In short, I support having Pill de-sysoped because of what it is in practice; I'd be open to a petition in the future to re-open it if there were an appropriate set of people behind it who I believed were attempting an NPOV project instead of an actively POV one. Result will be his de-sysop for his abuse of administrative privileges.--Fratiorul lui Bonaparte, il cunosti? 09:11, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
