Akkineni Naga Chaitanya Rao is another lucky debutant(lead actor) to the Telugu film industry due to his background. He is the son of illustrious actor Akkineni Nagarjuna, blood nephew of veteran actor Venkatesh, cousin of actor Sumanth, grandson of stalwart screen legend ANR and ace producer D. Rama Naidu. He has already been conferred the title 'Navayuva Samrat' by his father's fans (Nagfans)[1].

- Is currently completing his B.Comm final year, right after which, he will star in his debut.
- Has been featured in gossip columns for his so-called 'rivalry' with Ram charan tej[2]. However, they are actually friends[3].
- Has been trained in acting by actress Tabu in Mumbai, where he also attended an acting school.
- Is known for his handsome looks, for which he is hounded by both Mumbai and Hyderabad-based papparazis. However, he is one of few film heirs who has no bad records and has steered clearly away from the media.
