Naogaon

Naogaon, also called Nowgong, is a city in Chhatarpur District of Madhya Pradesh state, India.
Nowgong was the headquarters of the British political agent for Bundelkhand from 1850 until Indian Independence in 1947. Nowgong has great past in culture and politics, it was capital of Bundelkhand state in undivided Madhya Pradesh.It is about 68 Kilometers from city of Khajuraho, a great tourist place. The other site of attraction is Dhubela museum which is about 5 Kilometers from the city. It is a great picnic spot.
