NASW Code of Ethics
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Code of Ethics of the U.S.-based National Association of Social Workers is the ethical code for the largest membership organization of professional social workers in the world. In 1996, the NASW approved the code of ethics to serve as a guide to professional social workers; the code underwent revision in 1999. The code consists of an introduction and summaries of six ethical principles.
The Taiwan Association of Social Workers (TASW) also approved eighteen principles of ethics, and relied heavily upon the NASW Code of Ethics in formulating its own code.
