NAMSS - National Association Medical Staff Services
NAMSS, established in 1978, has over 4000 members nationwide and is headquarted in Washington, D.C. The Association seeks to provide high quality educational opportunities for it's members, as well as to continuously foster public awareness of the vital role of medical staff professionals in the provision of safe, effective healthcare.

NAMSS members are employed in hospitals, managed care organizations, ambulatory surgery centers, physician practice groups, and many other locations. Medical staff service professionals work, along with medical and administrative leadership, to protect patients from unskilled, impaired, or in the worst case, fraudulent healthcare providers.
NAMSS publishes Synergy, a bi-monthly journal.
