The Necropolis is a territory on Legacy of Kain series. It is the territory of the Lieutenant Melchiah.

The Necropolis is located north of the Razielim territory, being near of Nupraptor's Retreat.

It is composed of a vast cemetery, from which the Melchahim could rob the corpses there interred and use their skin to cover his "underlying decay". There, in the third section of the charnel house, a mural depicting Melchiah in his humanoid form.
[edit] The lower and the upper stronghold
The lower stronghold can be reached through a room with a Warp Gate in the end of the cemetery. There are to plates acessible when shifting to the Spectral Realm. These plates give acess to two levers which free the way to the upper stronghold.
The upper stronghold has a machinary which must be activated to lower a platform. Four lit "candles" lower the platform further, thus freeing the way to Melchiah's chamber.
[edit] Melchiah's chamber
The round-shaped chamber has three levers. The first and the second lower a gate, which Raziel uses to weaken Melchiah. Once the two gates are destroyed, the third lever is activated. The third lever activates a kind of meat grinder, which Raziel uses to reduce the blub-Melchiah to a river of blood.
