Nguyen Son Ha

- This is a Vietnamese name; the family name is Nguyễn, but is often simplified as Nguyen in English-language text. According to Vietnamese custom, this person properly should be referred to by the given name Hà.
Nguyen Son Ha (Vietnamese: Nguyễn Sơn Hà) is an advocate for democracy in Vietnam. He was born in 1954 in South Vietnam.

During the Fall of Saigon, his father was a Lieutenant in the anti-communist Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN), defending South Vietnam from the invading North Vietnamese Army and their Viet Cong agents. The Communist forces during a fierce battle overcame his father's battalion, due to their low ammunition and lack of air support, and his father was killed.
Dung, his mother, and his siblings escaped Vietnam by boat and received political asylum from the United States, settling in Los Angeles in 1977.
He graduated from the Nationalist Chinese Institute for Technical Research, in Taipei, Taiwan.
He attended Darlington Technical College, South Carolina, and then worked as a Financial Planner.
In 2001, he was appointed as Secretary of Foreign Affairs of an exiled anti-communist organization known as The Government of Free Vietnam.
He has been an advocate for democracy for Vietnam, and has traveled throughout the states of California and Washington speaking to Vietnamese-American communities and meeting with state officials such as Representative Loretta Sanchez to gather support for political reform in Vietnam.
