[edit] Statue of Liberty
Nizhny Tagil says: "the copper for the skin of the Statue of Liberty was mined and refined in Nizhniy Tagil." Statue of Liberty says: "Historical records make no mention of the source of the copper used in the Statue of Liberty. In the village of Visnes in the municipality of Karmøy, Norway, tradition holds that the copper came from the French-owned Visnes Mine." Are there any sources that Nizhny Tagil is the origin? --NeoUrfahraner 10:23, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
- I found a source for the claim; added to the article. --NeoUrfahraner 10:39, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
