North by Northwestern

North by Northwestern is a daily online newsmagazine at Northwestern University, started in September 2006 by students at the Medill School of Journalism. It is noted for its multimedia coverage of campus events, especially of The Rock (Northwestern University). In 2007 the site was recognized by the Society of Professional Journalists with seven regional Mark of Excellence Awards.
