Old Trafford Metrolink station

Old Trafford Metrolink station, was formerly known as Warwick Road until 1992 when British Rail services were replaced by Metrolink. As the station is adjacent to Lancashire County Cricket Club and the Manchester United Stadium is only a short walk away, Old Trafford Station regularly faces heavy usage especially as Match Days, Cricket Matches and Concerts mean big crowds. Crowd control operations involve the often use of turnstiles. The station is in Ticketing Zone E.
