Paul joined A Flock of Seagulls (AFOS) at age 17, after answering an ad in a newspaper. AFOS's popularity soared with the release of the single "Its Not Me (Talking)" in the UK. An album followed, a grammy, two more hit singles and a worldwide tour by the time he was 20. Reynolds's favorite concert was performing at Madison Square Garden in New York City.[citation needed]
