From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Pei Wei Asian Diner (pây wây) is a restaurant chain in the United States. Owned by P. F. Chang's China Bistro (PFCB), it is primarily located in the Southwestern and Mid-Atlantic United States, and offers a modest selection of freshly prepared Asian items influenced by the cuisines of Korea, China, Japan, Vietnam and Thailand. Pei Wei is intended to be a "quick" P.F. Chang's, lacking the formality and full-service of P.F. Chang's, a style known in the industry as Fast Casual. Pei Wei offers counter service and take-out flexibility.
Pei Wei Asian Diner, Inc. is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona. PFCB planned and developed Pei Wei in early 2000. As of November 2006, there are 78 Pei Wei Asian Diners in 13 states. Some of their menu items include Kung Pao Chicken (or Beef), Lettuce Wraps, salads, and a short selection of children's menu items.
