Penrith High School is an academically selective public high school located in Penrith, New South Wales, Australia to the west of Sydney, Australia.

Penrith High School started as an intermediate school in 1951, occupying land where previously a large building called by locals 'The Towers' stood. The annual yearbook goes by the same name. Penrith High was designated as a Selective High School in 1989 and became fully selective in 1994.

Penrith High entry for those in Year 6 take the Selective School Exams which are set at high levels. Penrith High also provides entry for Yrs 8 - 12 although there are limited vacancies.

In 2005, Penrith High School was ranked 23rd in the DA Sydney Morning Herald's HSC Rankings, beating many schools publicly considered as having higher academically skilled children, like Girraween High School and Normanhurst Boys High School. In 2006, Penrith was ranked 7 lower than Normanhurst (Normanhurst:24), although beat Girraween High once again (35).
