Peter Dews

Peter Kenneth Dews (born 22 April 1952) is a British philosopher, in the fields of critical theory and continental philosophy. He is known mainly for his book Logics of Disintegration, on the limitations of post-structuralism. As of 2005, he is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Essex.
His first degree was in English, at Queens' College, Cambridge. He has a doctorate in philosophy from the University of Southampton.
