Peter Mankoč

Peter Mankoč (born July 4, 1978 in Ljubljana, Slovenia) is a swimmer who won several swimming championships, for example 2002 FINA Short Course World Championships in Moscow. He did so in the 100 metres medley.
Mankoč, nicknamed Pero, started swimming when he was eight years old, and he developed himself into one of Slovenia's most successful swimmers ever. He represented his country at two Olympic Games: at the 2000 Summer Olympics and the 2004 Summer Olympics. He also won seven consecutive European Championships in the 100 metres medley.
