Philip W Johnston

Philip Johnston is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Philip W. Johnston Associates, a healthcare and government relations consulting firm. Johnston was the Chair of the Massachusetts Democratic Party from November 2000 to April 2007. President Bill Clinton appointed Johnston the New England Director of the United States Department of Health and Human Services, where he served from 1993 to 1996. He was also Secretary of Human Services in Massachusetts from 1984 to 1991 under Michael Dukakis and a five-term State Representative from Marshfield, Massachusetts.
